1. What this website stores on your device

Theme preference (localStorage, key "lagnora-theme", first-party): written only when you pick Light or Dark yourself in the theme switcher. It exists so the site keeps the appearance you chose. Choosing System removes the entry again. Nothing else about you is in it, it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not used for statistics or advertising. Because it exists purely to deliver a setting you asked for, it is strictly necessary for that feature and does not require separate consent — you can clear it at any time in your browser, or by choosing System.

Nothing else is written. The public pages set no cookies, stores no campaign or referral identifier, and keeps no visitor identifier. Campaign parameters in a link (utm_source and similar) and a referral code are read from the address of the page you are on and, if you submit the waitlist form, sent with that form; they are no longer kept in sessionStorage and disappear when you leave the page.

This is why you do not see a consent banner here: the only thing stored on your device is the theme setting you chose yourself, and the statistics described below store nothing on your device. If we ever add a technology that needs consent, we will ask you before it runs rather than afterwards. The Lagnora member app is a separate product: it keeps your sign-in in your phone's secure storage (the iOS Keychain, or storage protected by the Android Keystore) and removes it when you sign out. It contains no advertising SDK and does not use the advertising identifier. Crash reports in the app are off unless you turn them on (Settings → Privacy → Crash diagnostics), and turning them off again deletes any report still waiting on the phone. Our privacy policy describes this.

Kaveri, our internal staff tool, lives under lagnora.com/kaveri but is not a public page. When a member of staff signs in to it, Kaveri sets one first-party session cookie: HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read it), limited to this site, and used only to keep that person signed in. Visitors and members never receive it, and it is not used for statistics or tracking.

Submitting the waitlist form does not set a cookie. The server may briefly look at the requesting IP address to slow down automated submissions, as described in the privacy policy. That is request handling: not a cookie, not storage on your device, and not a fingerprint of your device.

2. Statistics

We use Plausible Analytics (plausible.io) for website statistics. Plausible sets no cookie and writes nothing to your device: it counts pageviews server-side using a rotating, non-reversible hash and does not build a cross-site or cross-visit profile. Plausible is EU-hosted. Alongside pageviews we send a small number of product events — for example that the waitlist form was viewed or submitted, which channel a visit arrived through (organic search, an AI assistant, social, referral or direct), the bare hostname of the referring site, the page path, and page-speed measurements. We never send your name, email address, city or any profile field, and never the full referring URL or a search query.

3. What we do not use

None of the following runs on this website, and we will not add anything from this list quietly.

No Google Analytics.
No Facebook Pixel or other Meta tracking.
No advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking technology of any kind.
No third-party embeds or widgets — no YouTube embeds, no Twitter/X or LinkedIn widgets, no social share scripts. The share buttons are ordinary links that open WhatsApp, LinkedIn or X only when you click them.
No fonts, scripts or images loaded from a third-party CDN at page load: the fonts are downloaded when the site is built and served from lagnora.com. The only third-party script on the page is the Plausible statistics script described above.
No fingerprinting, no session recording, no heatmaps, no A/B testing tool.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to receive a portable copy, and to object to processing. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

5. Changes to this page

We will update this page and the effective date above if anything changes. For a material change, we tell members by email before it takes effect.
